Passionate Creativity Using Nature's Beauty and Design

I have been beading for over 10 years now. I love looking at colors and textures, raw and finished, bold and pastel and natural stones have a multitude of exactly that. Beauty in so many shapes, sizes and colors. Playing with beads, stones was such a natural place for me to start putting all these factors into place. After friends, family, even strangers started asking me about my jewelry I continued on with the hobby but turned it into a small business! I had an online storefront for over 2 years and closed it in the spring of 2015. There were many reasons why, but I wanted more autonomy and flexibility on what items I could offer customers. Thus, I opened my own website, MaggieMadeDesigns.com. As I continue on this creative journey, I decided I wanted another venue dedicated to my handmade, artisan jewelry and thus MMDArtisanJewelry was born! As this artistic journey continues, I am starting to introduce some metalsmithing into my story and hope to add some sterling silver and copper pieces to my shop very soon!

In addition to my Etsy Store and my own website, I participate in local, juried craft shows around the country, mostly around the mid west..

As the sunlight causes oxidation, it will help your jewelry to not tarnish as quickly. It is recommended not to wear your jewelry while showering or bathing.
